Pengembangan model latihan gerak dasar karate melalui modifikasi permainan tradisional untuk pemula

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menghasilkan model latihan gerak dasar karate yang dimodifikasi melalui permainan tradisional yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dari pemula pada beladiri karate. Penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan Borg & Gall (1983: 775) langkah-langkah yang dimodifikasi, meliputi: (1) pengumpulan informasi, (2) menganalisis hasil informasi, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli dan revisi, (5) uji coba produk atau uji kelayakan, (6) validasi ahli, (7) uji efektifitas, (8) produk akhir. uji coba skala kecil dilakukan pada pemula Inkanas Dojo SDN Embung Tiang, Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. uji coba skala besar dilakukan pada pemula perguruan Inkanas di Dojo SMAN I Sakra Timur, Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Subyek penelitian ini adalah pemula di kedua Dojo tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui (1) wawancara, (2) observasi, dan (3) kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Isi dari produk yang dihasilkan adalah empat model permainan dan empat gerak dasar karate meliputi: (1) permainan lari tarompang untuk melatih kuda-kuda Zenkotsu dachi, (2) permainan Tarik Tambang untuk melatih kuda-kuda Kokutsu dachi, (3) permainan Batok Kuda untuk melatih kuda-kuda Kiba dachi, dan (4) permainan Bentengan untuk melatih teknik Kumite.

 

Developing a model of karate basic motion exercise through the modification of traditional games for beginners

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to produce a model of karate basic motion exercises through the modification of traditional games that matches the characteristics of the beginners of karate. This research and development used the steps in the research and development model of Borg & Gall (1983: 775), consisting of (1) the collection of information, (2) analyzing the results of the information, (3) early product development, (4) expert validation and revision, (5) product trials or due diligence, (6) expert validation, (7) effectiveness testing, and (8) final product. The small scales trial was conducted on Inkanas beginners who practised at the Dojo of SDN Embung Tiang, Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. The large scales trial was conducted on the Inkanas beginners who practised at the Dojo of SMAN I Sakra Timur, Lombok Timur, and Nusa Tenggara Barat. The research subject was the karate beginners of the two dojos. The data were collected through (1) interviews, (2) observation, and (3) questionnaire using the Likert scale. The data analysis used descriptive, qualitative and quantitative analyses. The results of this research and development is a handbook of karate basic movement exercises modified through traditional games for karate beginners, which is packaged in a CD. The contents of the products consist of four models of the game and four karate basic movements including (1) the game of Lari Tarompang to train kuda-kuda Zenkotsu dachi, (2) the game of Tarik Tambang to train kuda-kuda Kokutsu dachi, (3) the game of Batok Kuda riding to train kuda-kuda Kiba dachi, and (4) the game of Bentengan to train Kumite techniques.
