PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL GUNA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH PADA TOPIK GEOMETRI KELAS VII SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan kontekstual guna meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada topik geometri kelas VII SMP serta untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R & D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar penilaian RPP dan LKS, angket penilaian guru, angket penilaian siswa dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, serta soal pre-test dan post-test.
Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS layak berdasarkan aspek kevalidan dan keduanya mencapai kriteria valid dengan skor rata-rata 4,04 untuk RPP dan 4,11 untuk LKS dengan skor maksimum 5,00. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran didasarkan pada hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang mencapai skor rata-rata 94,44% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, dan angket penilaian siswa yang menunjukkan kriteria praktis dengan skor rata-rata 3,00 serta angket penilaian guru yang menunjukkan kriteria sangat praktis dengan skor rata-rata 3,44. RPP dan LKS layak dari aspek keefektifan berdasarkan ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 80,65% dengan kriteria tuntas dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, yaitu meningkat dari 37,5% menjadi 73,1%.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING AIDS BASED ON CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING TO INCREASE THE PROBLEM SOLVING SKILL FOR GEOMETRY
TOPICS IN GRADE VII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Abstract
This research aims to prouduce learning aids based on contextual teaching and learning to increase the problem solving skill for geometry topics in grade VII Junior High School and to describe the quality of the learning aids based on the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
This is a Research and Development (RnD) study. The research procedure, adapted from ADDIE model which consisted of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments to collect the data were assessment for the lesson plan and students’ worksheet, the teacher’s questionnaire, the student’questionnaire and learning activity observation sheet, and the pre-test and post-test questions.
The leraning aids which was developed statisfy validity, practicality, and effective criteria.. The results showed that the lesson plan and students’ worksheet feasible based on the aspect of the validity and both reached the validity criteria with an average score of 4.04 for lesson plan and 4.11 for student worksheet with a maximum score of 5.00. The practicality of instructional tools is based on the result of learning activity observation sheet that reaches an average score of 94.44% with very practicality criteria, and student’s assessment questionnaire which shows practicality criteria with average score 3,00 and teacher’s assessment questionnaire showing very practical criteria with an average score of 3.44. The lesson plan and students’ worksheet is feasible from the effectiveness aspect based on students' learning completeness reach 80,65% with good criteria and improvement of problem solving ability of student, that is increase from 37,5% to 73,1%.
