EFEKTIVITAS PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK INDONESIA (PMRI) DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA SMP

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) keefektifan pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran, (2) keefektifan pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (3) keefektifan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran, (4) keefektifan pendekatan PMRI ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (5) perbedaan keefektifan pendekatan saintifik dan PMRI ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran, dan (6) perbedaan keefektifan pendekatan saintifik dan PMRI ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Wates, Kulon Progo. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes kemampuan awal dan akhir kemampuan penalaran dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. uji statistik yang digunakan adalah one sample t-test dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) pendekatan saintifik efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran, (2) pendekatan saintifik efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (3) pendekatan PMRI efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran, (4) pendekatan PMRI efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (5) pendekatan PMRI tidak lebih efektif daripada pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran, dan (6) pendekatan PMRI lebih efektif daripada pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract
This research aimed to determine: (1) effectiveness scientific approach in term of reasoning skill, (2) effectiveness scientific approach in term of problem solving skill, (3) effectiveness Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) approach in term of reasoning skill, (4) effectiveness PMRI approach in term of problem solving skill, (5) difference of effectiveness learning with scientific approach and PMRI approach in term of reasoning skill, and (6) difference of effectiveness learning with scientific approach and PMRI approach in term of problem solving skill. This research is quasi experiment. This research has been done at SMP N 1 Wates . The instruments of this research were reasoning skill test, problem solving skill test and observation sheet of learning implementation. Statistical test used One Sample t Test and Independent Sample t Test. The result of this research was: (1) scientific approach effective in term of reasoning skill, (2) scientific approach effective in term of problem solving skill, (3) PMRI approach effective in term of reasoning skill, (4) PMRI approach effective in term of problem solving skill, (5) learning with PMRI approach more effective than scientific approach in term of reasoning skill, and (6) learning with PMRI approach not more effective than scientific approach and or they have the same effectiveness in term of problem solving skill
