ANALISIS KESULITAN BERHITUNG SISWA-SISWA SMK DIPONEGORO DEPOK PADA TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017
Abstract
Abstract This research is aimed to describe students’ dyscalculia at SMK Diponegoro Depok in the academic year of 2016/2017. Dyscalculia is detected based on calculation errors done by students. This research was about quantitative and qualitative research by concurrent triangulation design research strategies. The students of class X PTSM, X TSM, X TB 1, and X TB 2 who have difficulty in solving mathematics problem, participated as the subject of this research. The result of the research based on diagnostic test of motorcycle engineering students and fashion engineering students got the score below KKM 75. The inability of students in solving the given problems indicates that students experienced errors in calculating. Errors found among other; (1) errors related to symbols, (2) errors related to place values, (3) errors related to concepts, (4) errors related to erroneous processes of counting, (5) errors related to numerical principles, (6) errors relating to the operation of two simple integers, (7) unresolved error giving answers, and (8) writing mistake. Key words: diagnostic test, dyscalculia, error calculations, concurrent triangulation design.
