PENGEMBANGAN VIRTUAL LABORATORY IPA BERPENDEKATAN GUIDED INQUIRY MATERI GERAK PADA TUMBUHAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR ANALISIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII SMP DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE VIRTUAL LABORATORY WITHIN GUIDED INQUIRY APPROACH IN THEME PLANT MOVEMENT TO IMPROVING STUDENT ANALYTICAL THINGKING SKILL FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ON GRADE 8

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan virtual laboratory IPA berpendekatan guided inquiry materi “Gerak Pada Tumbuhan” yang layak menurut ahli dan guru IPA, mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap media, dan mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir analisis peserta didik setelah menggunakan virtual laboratory yang dikembangkan. Dsain penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) 4-D models (define, design, develop, disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi media virtual laboratory, angket respon peserta didik terhadap media virtual laboratory, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan guided inquiry, lembar observasi kemampuan berpikir analisis, soal pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan mencari rerata skor, konversi skor menjadi nilai skala empat, menghitung persentase, dan N-gainscore. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa virtual laboratory IPA berpendekatan guided inquiry materi “Gerak Pada Tumbuhan” yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran dengan nilai A ( kategori sangat baik) berdasarkan penilaian dosen ahli dan guru, mendapat respon peserta didik dengan kategori sangat baik, dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis peserta didik dengan kategori sedang.

The purposes of the research are to produce science virtual laboratory within guided inquiry approach in theme “plant movement” that valid according to experts and practicioner, find out student’s response toward the virtual laboratory that developed, and find out improvement of student’s analytical thinking skill after used virtual laboratory within guided inquiry approach in theme “plant movement”. Design of research as Research and Development (R&D) 4-D models (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The instrument used are validation form of virtual laboratory, student’s questionnaire response for virtual laboratory, observation sheet of guided inquiry learning, observation sheet of the analytical thingking skills, pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques that used in this research are data analysis, with average score, four point likert scale conversion, percentage calculation, and N-gain score. The results showed that virtual laboratory was feasible in learning with the value of A (categorized as very good), with A grade according to experts and practicioner, Student’s response toward the virtual laboratory are very good, and virtual laboratory” can improve student’s analytical thingking skills with “average” category.
