PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM SOLVING BERORIENTASI PADA KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika materi peluang Sekolah Menengah Pertama kelas VIII dengan pendekatan problem solving yang berorientasi pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sleman dengan 32 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar penilaian bahan ajar untuk mengukur kevalidan, angket respon siswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengukur kepraktisan, serta tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah untuk mengukur keefektifan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Bahan ajar dikatakan efektif jika lebih dari 75% siswa mencapai nilai kemampuan peecahan masalah minimal. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

DEVELOPING MATHEMATICS INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS BASED ON PROBLEM SOLVING WITH PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY ORIENTED

 

Abstract

This research aims to produce mathematics instructional materials on opportunities material junior high school grade VIII based on problem solving with problem solving ability oriented in the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness with problem solving ability oriented. Type of this research was developing with ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subbject of this research is the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sleman, 32 students. The instruments used in this research were validation sheets for measuring the validity for the instructional materials, student’s questionnaire, and observation sheet of learning implementation for measuring the practicality, and problem solving ability test for measuring the effectiveness of the instructional materials. Instructional materials it said effectiveness if more than 75% students reach minimum problem solving ability score. This research produce instructional materials which meet in the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness with problem solving ability oriented.
