PENGEMBANGAN LKPD IPA MATERI “TEKANANKU, PERHATIANMU” BERPENDEKATAN AUTHENTIC INQUIRY LEARNING UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KEMAMPUAN PROBLEM SOLVING DAN SIKAP INGIN TAHU PESERTA DIDIK SMP DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEET USING AUTHENTIC INQUIRY LEARNING APPROACH IN “MY TENSION, YOUR ATTENTION” SUBJECT TO GROWTH PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS AND STUDENTS CURIOSITIES FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kelayakan hasil pengembangan LKPD IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning, (2) pertumbuhan kemampuan problem solving peserta didik SMP kelas VIII terhadap LKPD IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning, (3) pertumbuhan sikap ingin tahu peserta didik SMP kelas VIII terhadap LKPD IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development (R & D) dengan model 4-D. Tahap-tahap penelitian ini meliputi tahap tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebarluasan). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik SMP kelas VIII A di SMP Negeri 1 Sleman. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi untuk dosen ahli dan guru IPA, lembar observasi keteraksanaan pembelajaran authentic inquiry learning, angket respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning, lembar observasi kemampuan problem solving, instrumen soal tes problem solving berupa pretest dan posttest, lembar observasi sikap ingin tahu peserta didik, dan angket sikap ingin tahu peserta didik. Hasil penelitian dari pengembangan LKPD IPA menunjukkan bahwa: (1) LKPD IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dengan kategori sangat baik (A), didukung dengan hasil respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD IPA berada pada kategori baik (B) dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran authentic inquiry learning dapat 100% terlaksana dengan sangat baik, (2) Kemampuan problem solving peserta didik dapat tumbuh dengan baik berdasarkan analisis gain score yang berada pada kategori sedang, (3) Sikap ingin tahu peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat baik (A).

This study aims to determine:(1) the quality of student’s worksheets with authentic inquiry learning, (2) The growth problem solving ability of Junior High School student using student’s worksheets with authentic inquiry learning, (3) the growth curiosity of Junior High School student using student’s worksheets with authentic inquiry learning. This study using R & D (Research and Development) with 4-D model. The stages of this study includes define, design, develop, and disseminate. Instrument used in this study are form of sheets validation for expert lecturers and science teachers, observation sheet authentic inquiry learning, questionnaire responses of learners to Science LKPD using authenticinquiry learning, observation sheet problem solving ability, instrument of test problem solving such as pretest and posttest, observation sheet of student’s curiosity, and the questionnaire of student’s curiosity. Subjects in this study were students grade VIII A in SMP N 1 Sleman. The results of the development of the science worksheet are (1) The science worksheet by using authentic inquiry learning approach is proper to be used for the learning material and it is included as excellent category, supported by the result of the students responses to science worksheet get a good category, (2) problem solving ability of students Junior High School can grow well using student’s worksheets with authentic inquiry learning approach based on gain score analysis in the medium category(3) Student’s curiosity are in the excellent category.
