PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP KECERDASAN SPASIAL MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran terhadap kecerdasan spasial pada materi bangun ruang siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang terdiri dari 24 sekolah sebanyak 559 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD N Bendosari sebanyak 22 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD N Canden sebanyak 22 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Independent T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media video pembelajaran terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan spasial pada materi bangun ruang siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel (3,943>2,074) dan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05.

Abstract
This study aimed at determining the effect of the using of learning video media on students’ spatial intelligence in geometry materials of the elementary school. This research was a quasi-experimental research with pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this research were all fifth grade students of Elementary School in Jetis, Bantul sub-district consisting of 24 schools as many as 559 students. The sampling technique used were purposive sampling technique. The sample of the research were the fifth grade students of SD N Bendosari as many as 22 students as the experimental class and the fifth grade students of SD N Canden as many as 22 students as the control class. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis technique used were Independent T-Test. The results of the research showed that the using of learning video media was proved to have an effect on the spatial intelligence in geometry materials of the elementary school. This was shown from the thitung value was greater than the ttabel (3.943>2.074) and the significance level of 0.000<0.05.
