Penerapan reflective learning untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan karakter kerja kompetensi membuat busana wanita

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan karakter kerja pada kompetensi membuat busana wanita siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) kelas XII Tata Busana 2 melalui penerapan metode reflective learning. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan tes unjuk kerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (a) penerapan metode reflective learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dalam kompetensi membuat busana wanita yang mencapai 94,12% KKM; (b) penerapan metode reflective learning dapat meningkatkan karakter kerja siswa dalam kompetensi membuat busana wanita yang mencapai 97,64%.

THE APPLICATION OF THE REFLECTIVE LEARNING TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT AND THE WORK CHARACTER IN THE COMPETENCY IN THE WOMEN’S DRESS MAKING
Abstract
This study aims to: improve the learning achievement and improve the work character, in the competency in the women’s dress making among Grade XII students of Fashion Design 2 of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMK N) 3 Klaten through the application of the reflective learning method. This was a classroom action research study conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and performance tests. The collected data were descriptively analyzed. The results of the study were as follows. (a) The application of the reflective learning method was capable of improving the students’ learning achievement in the competency in the women’s dress making which get 94,12% KKM; (b) The application of the reflective learning method was capable of improving the students’ work character in the competency in the women’s dress making which get 97,64%.
