Tantangan sekolah menengah kejuruan program studi tata busana di abad 21

Abstract


Penelitian inibertjuanuntukmengungkapkantentangtantangan SMK program studi keahlian tata busana di abad 21. Tempat penelitian di SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta dan SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan pada program studi keahlian tata busana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Tantangan yang dihadapi para guru SMK Program studi tata busana di abad 21 yaitu mengenai pemahaman kurikulum, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013; (2) Tantangan SMK Program studi tata busana dalam menyiapkan peserta didik sebagai tenaga kerja di abad 21 yaitu meningkatkan strategi pembelajaran; (3) Tantangan peserta didik SMK Program studi tata busana di abad 21 yaitu penggunaan teknologi, pergeseran sumber belajar, pemecahan masalah, beradaptasi, berfikir kreatif, berdiskusi mengakses dan menganalisis informasi.

FASHION DESIGN PROGRAM AT THE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL:CHALLENGES IN THE 21st CENTURY

Abstract

The research on Fashion Design Program at the  Vocational High School is aimed at determining challenges of the program in the 21st century. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta and SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta, and focused on the school programs majoring in fashion design. This thesis it self was  using qualitative reasearch based on case study. The data were collected through interviews and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are as follows. (1) Challenges faced by teachers in understanding and implementing national curriculum standard 2013; (2) Challanges in preparing students future and compete with  labour market in the 21st century wich make development of teaching strategy; (3) Challenges for students in untilizing technology, adapting with the changes of study material, problem solving capacity,adapting with new trend, creative thinking, anddiscusing, accessing and analyzing information.
