IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER (PPK) DI SMP PIRI NGAGLIK SLEMAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) di SMP Piri Ngaglik, yang meliputi 1) tahap-tahap implementasi; 2) program sekolah; 3) penerapan nilai-nilai karakter; 3) peran sekolah, keluarga dan masyarakat; 4) faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi kebijakan PPK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Piri Ngaglik. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, sementara keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan PPK di SMP Piri Ngaglik dilakukan melalui 3 tahap yaitu tahap interpretasi, pengorganisasian, dan aplikasi. Pelaksanaan kebijakan PPK melalui 2 program yaitu PPK berbasis kelas dan PPK berbasis budaya sekolah. Nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan yaitu religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas. Faktor pendukung implementasi kebijakan PPK di SMP Piri Ngaglik yaitu program dan sarana prasarana sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah komitmen guru yang kurang dibangun dan orangtua yang tidak bisa diajak bekerjasama.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of Character Education Strengthening (PPK) at Piri Ngaglik Middle School, which includes 1) implementation stages; 2) school programs; 3) application of character values; 3) the role of schools, families and communities; 4) supporting factors and inhibiting factors for implementing PPK policies. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. The research was conducted at Piri Ngaglik Middle School. The research subjects are principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews and document studies. . Research data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models,, while the validity of the data used source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of PPK in Piri Ngaglik Middle School was carried out through 3 stages, namely interpretation stage, organizing, and application. The implementation of PPK policies through 2 programs, namely class-based PPK and school culture based PPK . The values of characters instilled are religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. Supporting factors in the implementation of the policy for strengthening character education are programs and facilities for school infrastructure. The inhibiting factor are the lack of teacher commitment and parents who cannot be invited to coorporate.
