PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SDIT UKHUWAH ISLAMIYAH KALASAN SLEMAN

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan program pendidikan karakter di SDIT Ukhuwah Islamiyah Kalasan Sleman. Pendidikan karakter meliputi proses dan hasil pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, karyawan, alumni dan wali murid. Setting penelitian ini dilakukan di SDIT Ukhuwah Islamiyah Kalasan Sleman. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Program Pendidikan Karakter di SDIT Ukhuwah Islamiyah bertujuan untuk membangun akhlaq mulia berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam dengan menitikberatkan pada nilai religius, budi pekerti, jujur, mandiri, dan sopan santun. Program pendidikan karakter meliputi tahsin tahfidz, shalat wajib berjamaah, mentoring, pramuka, kerja bakti, senam, upacara, Nigth Study Club, Outbound, kemah, futsal, beladiri, robotik dan nasyid dengan menggunakan metode pembiasaan, keteladanan, ceramah, kisah motivasi, hadiah dan hukuman. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengamatan, teguran, buku mutabaah harian, diskusi yang bersifat kasuistik, dan rapot. (2) Hasil pendidikan karakter meliputi siswa taat beribadah, rajin shalat, rajin membaca Al Quran, kemampuan baca Al Quran sesuai hukum tajwid, hafal juz 30, suka menolong, membantu orang tua, jujur, sopan santun dan mandiri.

Abstract
This study aims to describe character education program at SDIT Ukhuwah Islamiyah Kalasan Sleman. Character education includes the process and outcome of character education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Research subjects are principals, teachers, students, employees, alumni and guardians. The setting of this research conducted at SDIT Ukhuwah Islamiyah Kalasan Sleman. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and document review. The results show that: (1) Character education programs in SDIT Ukhuwah Islamiyah aims to build noble moral based on Islamic values with emphasis on religious values, character, honest, independent, and good manners. Character education program includes tahsin, tahfidz, mandatory prayer, mentoring, scouting, society service, gymnastics, ceremony, Nigth Study Club, Outbound, camp, futsal, martial arts, robotics and nasyid by using a method of habituation, exemplary, lecture, motivation story, and punishment. The evaluation is done by observation, reprimand, daily reminder, casuistic discussion, and report card. (2) Character education results include students obedient worship, obedient in running the prayer, obedient in reading Al Quran, the ability to read Al Quran according to the rules of tajwid, memorized juz 30, helpful, helping parents, honest, courteous and independent.
