PERAN KOMUNITAS LEDHOK TIMOHO DALAM PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI DI SEKOLAH GAJAH WONG YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) Peran Komunitas Ledhok Timoho dalam pendidikan karakter anak usia dini di Sekolah Gajah Wong Yogyakarta, 2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran Komunitas Ledhok Timoho dalam pendidikan karakter anak usia dini di Sekolah Gajah Wong Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah koordinator Komunitas Ledhok Timoho, koordinator dan edukator Sekolah Gajah Wong, dan orangtua siswa di Sekolah Gajah Wong. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data melalui trianggulasi sumber dan teknik. Data analisis menggunakan Interactive Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Peran Komunitas Ledhok Timoho dalam pendidikan karakter anak usia dini di Sekolah Gajah Wong meliputi peran fasilitatif yaitu menyediakan sarana dan prasarana di Sekolah Gajah Wong, peran edukatif yaitu memberikan penyadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan bagi anak usia dini, dan peran perwakilan yaitu adanya tim advokasi untuk masyarakat. (2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat Komunitas Ledhok Timoho dalam pendidikan karakter anak usia dini yaitu faktor pendukungnya terdiri dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Lalu, faktor penghambat yaitu belum semua berperan sesuai dengan tanggung jawabnya di Komunitas Ledhok Timoho.
Kata kunci : peran komunitas, pendidikan karakter anak usia dini.

Abstract
This research aims to describe 1) the role of the community Ledhok Timoho in education of early chilhood character in Gajah Wong School Yogyakarta, 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors community Ledhok Timoho in education of early chilhood character in Gajah Wong School Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Research subjects in this study are coordinator of the community Ledhok Timoho, coordinator of the school Gajah Wong, educator, and parents. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity through source triangulation, and techniques. Data analysis using the Interactive Model. The results showed that: (1) the role of the community Ledhok Timoho in education of early chilhood character in Gajah Wong School Yogyakarta is the facilitative role of providing facilities and infrastructure in Gajah Wong School, the educative role of providing awareness of the importance of education for early childhood, and the role of representation is the existence of an advocacy team for the community. (2) Supporting factors amd inhibiting factors in education of early chilhood character in Gajah Wong School Yogyakarta is supporting factors consist of internal factors and external factors. Then, the inhibiting factors are have not all played out in accordance with their responsibilities in the Ledhok Timoho Community.
