PENINGKATAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA KELAS III SD N 04 SUNGAI JAGA A, MELALUI METODE REWARD STICKER PICTURED

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin siswa kelas III SD N 04 Sungai Jaga A, Kabupaten Bengkayang dengan metode reward sticker pictured. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus tindakan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi karakter disiplin siswa dan aktivitas guru. Teknis analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas III SD N 04 Sungai Jaga A. Karakter disiplin siswa dapat meningkat melalui proses pembelajaran dengan reward sticker pictured. Peningkatan kedisiplinan juga dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi yang menunjukkan persentase siswa yang memiliki kedisiplinan belajar kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi pada siklus I 63.6% dan siklus II 81.8%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan reward sticker pictured dapat meningkatkan karakter disiplin siswa kelas III SD N 04 Sungai Jaga A.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the discipline character of third grade students at SD N 04 Sungai Jaga A, Bengkayang Regency through reward sticker pictured method.This type of research is collaborative classroom action research. This research based on Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which takes two cycles of action. Data instrument using observation checklist of students’ discipline character and teacher activities checklist. The data were collected through observation and documentation. Then analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative technique. The character of student discipline could be increased through the learning process with reward stickers The improvement was reached through reward sticker pictured can be seen from the results of observations. The character of student discipline could be increased through the learning process with reward stickers pictured. The observation result implied that the percentage of students who had high and very high learning discipline in the first cycle of 63.6% and the second cycle 81.8%. It can be concluded that the use of pictured reward stickers can improve the discipline character of third grade students at SD N 04 Sungai Jaga A.
