Focus and Scope

PAUDAGOGY is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, theoretical studies, and best practices in the field of Early Childhood Education. The journal focuses on education, learning, and assessment for young children aged 0–8 years. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: learning models and strategies for early childhood education, curriculum design and development, play-based and child-centered learning approaches, assessment of learning and child development, evaluation of instructional practices, instructional media and educational tools, teacher competence and professional development, inclusive and differentiated learning, classroom-based assessment, innovation in early childhood pedagogy, and the integration of educational theory into practice in early learning settings. This journal aims to serve as a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share knowledge and promote quality education for young children at both national and international levels.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to PAUDAGOGY undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity. The review process is as follows:

  1. Initial Screening
    The editorial team conducts a preliminary review to assess the manuscript's relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to submission guidelines, and overall quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria will be returned to the authors without external review.

  2. Peer Review Process
    Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two reviewers with expertise in early childhood education. Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications and publication experience.

  3. Double-Blind Process
    Both the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed to maintain objectivity.

  4. Review Criteria
    Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, theoretical and/or practical contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and relevance to early childhood education.

  5. Editorial Decision
    Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide to:

    • Accept the manuscript without revision

    • Accept with minor/major revisions

    • Reject the manuscript

  6. Revision and Resubmission
    Authors are given a deadline to revise and resubmit the manuscript. Revised submissions may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers.

  7. Timeframe
    The average time for the review process is 6–8 weeks from submission to decision.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
