PENGEMBANGAN LKS KOMIK IPA BERPENDEKATAN AIL MENUMBUHKAN PROBLEM SOLVING DAN SIKAP RESPEK TERHADAP FAKTA DEVELOPMENT COMIC SCIENCE WORKSHEET WITH AIL CREATE PROBLEM SOLVING AND ATTITUDE RESPECT SKILL

Abstract


Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan hasil pengembangan LKS komik IPA dengan pendekatan authentic inquiry learning menurut dosen ahli dan guru IPA, mengetahui kemampuan problem solving, dan sikap respek terhadap fakta kelas VIII SMP setelah menggunakan LKS komik IPA dengan Pendekatan authentic inquiry learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4-D dengan tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop) dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). LKS komik IPA dianalisis menggunakan konversi menjadi empat kategori; data keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan konversi persentase keterlaksanaan dengan lima kategori; data pretest- posttest problem solving dianalisis menggunakan gain score serta data hasil kemampuan problem solving , data observasi sikap respek terhadap fakta dan angket sikap respek terhadap fakta dianalisis menggunakan konversi lima kategori. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan LKS komik IPA dengan pendekatan Authentic Inquiry Learning termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik, LKS komik IPA dapat menumbuhkan keterampilan problem solving dibuktikan dengan perhitungan gain score diperoleh nilai 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi, didukung berdasarkan hasil observasi mengalami peningkatan dari kategori rendah menjadi kategori sangat baik, sikap respek terhadap fakta tumbuh dari kategori sedang menjadi kategori sangat baik, didukung angket yang mengalami kenaikan persentase sebesar 10,56 dari kategori sedang menjadi kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the feasibility of the development of comic science worksheet with authentic inquiry learning approach by expert lecturers and science teachers; (2) improving problem solving skills; and (3) improving an attitude of respect for the fact after using comic science worksheet with authentic inquiry learning approach. This study is a research & development (R & D) with 4-D models. The stages of this study include the define phase (definition), design (design), develop (development), and disseminate (dissemination). Comic science worksheet were analyzed using conversion in 4 categoriee, pretest and posttest using gain score, problem solving skills and student’s repect attitude were analyzed using conversion percentage of the five categories. Results of this research are student’s worksheets development using authentic inquiry learning approach got very good category, comic science worksheet can foster problem solving skills evidenced by the results of calculations by the gain score obtained value of 0.71 with the high category, supported based on the observation from very low category became very good category, an increasing in the attitude of respect based on the observation improves from low category become excellent category. Then based on the questionnaire percentage increase 0.56 from very low category became very good category.
