THE EFFECTIVENES OF USING “BRAINSTORMING” TECHNIQUE IN THE TEACHING OF GERMAN SKILL FOR GRADE STUDENTS SMA N 1 MINGGIR SLEMAN

Abstract


This research aimed to find (1) the different of the teaching of German among the students of grade X SMA N 1 Minggir between those who are tought by sbrainstorming techniques those by conventional techniques, (2) the effectiveness of the use of brainstorming techniques in teaching reading skills german language of the german reading among the students of grade X in SMA Negeri 1 Minggir. This research is a quasi-experiment. The data were collected through a pretest and a posttest. The data were analyzed by means of the t-test. The result showed tobtained=3,911>ttable= 2,000 at a significance level a = 0,05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Brainstorming techniques in teaching reading language skills German is more effective than the conventional techniques. Post-test result of both groups showed that the mean of the experimental group ist at 25,53 >mean of the control group at 24,75 and the effectiveness weight was 8,2%.
