THE EFFECTIVENESS TYPES OF COOPERATIVE SCRIPT OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING IN THE LEARNING OF READING IN GERMAN AMONG THE STUDENTS OF GRADE XI IN SMA 1 IMOGIRI BANTUL
Abstract
This study aimed to determine: (1) differences achievement in the learning of reading in German among the students of class XI SMAN 1 Imogiri Bantul between the taught using Cooperative Learning type of cooperative script and taught using conventional teaching methods, (2) the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning type of cooperative script in the learning of reading in German among the students of class XI SMAN 1 Imogiri Bantul. This research is a quasi experimental. The research design is pretest post-test control group design. The data obtained in the study of German language reading skills scores of students in the pre-test and post-test. Analysis of the data in this study using t-test. The result of this research shows that the value of tcounted =3,081, which is greater than the value of ttable = 2.009 on the level of significance α = 0,05 with the value of significance is smaller than 0.05 (0.003<0.05) and db=54. The Effectivennes Point is as much as 9.74%, so it can be concluded that Cooperative Learning type of Cooperative Script effective in the learning of reading in German.
