PENGEMBANGAN LKPD IPA BERBASIS GUIDED INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS DAN SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE PESERTA DIDIK SMPN 1 MLATI DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE STUDENT WORKSHEET BASED ON GUIDED INQUIRY TO IMPROVE SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS AND SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE OF 1 MLATI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk LKPD IPA berbasis guided inquiry tema “Transpor Nutrisi dan Fotosintesis” yang layak untuk digunakan, mengetahui peningkatan science process skills, dan peningkatan scientific attitude pengguna LKPD hasil pengembangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4-D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi science process skills, lembar pretest dan posttest, lembar observasi sikap ilmiah, angket sikap ilmiah, lembar validasi soal science process skills, dan lembar validasi LKPD. Produk pengembangan (LKPD) terlebih dahulu divalidasi oleh dua orang dosen ahli dan dua orang guru IPA sebelum digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD IPA Guided Inquiry yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan nilai A (termasuk kategori sangat baik). Peningkatan science process skills berdasarkan tes termasuk kategori peningkatan tinggi, sedangkan berdasarkan hasil observasi termasuk kategori peningkatan sedang. Peningkatan scientific attitude peserta didik berdasarkan pengisian angket termasuk kategori peningkatan rendah, sedangkan berdasarkan hasil observasi termasuk kategori peningkatan tinggi.

This research aimed to produce science student worksheets based on guided inquiry theme “Transport of Nutrition and Photosynthesis” which is feasible to use, to determine the improvement of science process skills, and the improvement of scientific attitude of the developed student worksheet users. This was Research and Development (R&D) research with 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The instruments used in this study included the science process skills observation sheet, the scientific attitude questionnaire, the validation sheet on the science process skills, and the student worksheet validation sheet. The development product (the student worksheet) was first validated by two expert lectures and two science teachers before being used in learning. The results showed that the developed guided inquiry science student worksheet was feasible in learning with the value of A (very good category).The improvement of science process skills based on test assessment was high enhancement category, while based on the observation result was medium enhancement category. The improvement of students scientific attitude based on questionnaires was low enhancement category, while based on the observation result was high enhancement category.
