PENGEMBANGAN E-MODULE IPA BERBASIS SERVICE LEARNING DENGAN TEMA “PENCEMARAN UDARA” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMP KELAS VII DEVELOPING SERVICE LEARNING-BASED OF SCIENCE E-MODULE ON “AIR POLLUTION” TO IMPROVE THE CRITICAL THINKING SKILL FOR GRADE VII STUDENTS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kevalidan e–module IPA berbasis service learning untuk meningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP kelas VII. Prosedur pengembangan penelitian ini yaitu model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 langkah penelitian dan pengembangan, yaitu define, design, develop, disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-module IPA berbasis service learning dengan tema “Pencemaran Udara” layak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada perolehan gain score sebesar 0,40 dengan kategori sedang, peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukkan peningkatan, yaitu pada pertemuan I sebesar 72,40% dan pada pertemuan II sebesar 83,98%.

This study aims to determine the prevalence of e-module IPA-based service learning to improve the critical thinking skills of students of SMP class VII. The development procedure of this research is 4-D model consisting of 4 research and development step, that is define, design, develop, disseminate. The results showed that e-module IPA-based service learning with the theme "Air Pollution" is feasible to improve students' critical thinking skills. This is shown in the acquisition of gain score of 0.40 with medium category, increasing critical thinking skill shows increase, that is at meeting I equal to 72,40% and at meeting II equal to 83,98%.
