Analisis Pola Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam Penyelesaian Tugas Akademik Mahasiswa

Abstract


Pesatnya perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah cara mahasiswa menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola penggunaan AI di kalangan mahasiswa, meliputi frekuensi pemanfaatan, jenis platform yang mendominasi, serta tujuan utama penggunaannya. Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif ini menggunakan metode survei terhadap 50 mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Ilmu Agama Islam, Universitas Islam Indonesia yang dipilih menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa 68% menggunakan AI dengan frekuensi beberapa kali seminggu. Selanjutnya 24% mahasiswa menggunakan AI setiap hari, dan 8% jarang menggunakan AI, yakni 1-4 kali dalam sebulan. Jenis AI yang paling dominan digunakan adalah AI Generatif teks. Beberapa di antaranya juga memanfaatkan AI Pemrograman/Desain, juga AI Analisis Data. Tujuan utama mahasiswa menggunakan AI adalah untuk mencari ide atau inspirasi awal tugas, mencati sumber referensi, dan mempercepat penyelesaian tugas. Temuan ini mengindikasikan tingginya adopsi AI dalam aktivitas akademik, sehingga diperlukan regulasi dan panduan literasi AI yang jelas di lingkungan kampus.
