Kesiapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning pada SMK School Partnership Program SEAMOLEC di D.I. Yogyakarta

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) gambaran kesiapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di SMK School Partnership Program SEAMOLEC di DIY yang meliputi: (a) kesiapan institusi; (b) kesiapan guru; (c) kesiapan administrator; (d) kesiapan siswa; (e) kesiapan sarana dan prasarana; dan (f) kesiapan konten e-learning; serta (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam kesiapan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei. Sampel guru sejumlah 122, dan siswa sejumlah 301 ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Selain itu sampel kepala sekolah dan administrator sama dengan populasi yaitu 5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kesiapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning termasuk dalam kategori siap namun masih membutuhkan sedikit perbaikan yaitu pada aspek kesiapan guru dan siswa; serta (2) faktor pendukung dalam kesiapan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning meliputi: dana bantuan dari pemerintah, kerja sama dengan lembaga internal ataupun eksternal, dukungan kepala sekolah, kemampuan dan ketrampilan administrator dan siswa, sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki, dan konten e-learning yang cukup lengkap dan memadai, sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambat meliputi: belum memiliki tim pengembang atau pengelola pendidikan jarak jauh, kurang meratanya sosialisasi tentang penggunaan e-learning kepada guru-guru, sebagian besar guru termasuk dalam lingkup generasi digital immigran, faktor budaya dan kebiasaan guru, minimnya penggunaan komputer untuk mengakses e-learning oleh siswa dari jurusan selain TI, dan faktor budaya dan kebiasaan siswa.

THE IMPLEMENTATION READINESS OF E-LEARNING-BASED TEACHING IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF SEAMOLEC PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM IN D.I.Y

Abstract

This study aims to reveal: (1) the readiness of the implementation of e-learning-based teaching in vocational schools of SEAMOLEC partnership program in DIY which includes: (a) the readiness of the institution; (b) the readiness of teachers; (c) the readiness of the administrator; (d) the readiness of the students; (e) the readiness of facilities and infrastructure; and (f) the readiness of e-learning content; and (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the readiness of e-learning-based teaching. This research is a survey. A sample of 122 teachers, and 301 students was established using the proportional random sampling technique. Besides the samples of principals and administrators are the same as the population, that is 5. The results of the study are as follows: (1) the readiness of the implementation is in the ready category but still needs a little improvement is the aspect of readiness of teachers and students; and (2) the supporting factors in the readiness in the e-learning-based teaching include: a grant from the government,  in cooperation with internal and external agencies, the support from principals, abilities and skills of administrator and students, facilities and infrastructure owned, and e-learning content that is sufficiently complete and adequate; while the inhibiting factors in the readiness in the elearning-based teaching include: there is no team of developers or managers of distance education, less inadequate socialization of the use of e-learning for teachers, most of the teachers are included in the scope of the digital generation immigrants, cultural factors and habits of teachers, lack of use of the computer for e-learning by students of the department in addition to IT, and cultural factors and habits of students.
