PENDIDIKAN KEDISIPLINAN BAGI SANTRI DI ASRAMA

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang pendidikan kedisiplinan santri di Asrama MTs Muallimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, faktor pendukung dan penghambat serta strategi asrama untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pamong asrama, musyrifah atau guru pendamping asrama, dan santri MTs Muallimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pelaksanaan pendidikan kedisiplinan dilakukan melalui implementasi kegiatan-kegiatan dan tata tertib yang berlaku di asrama seperti: jam asrama, jam belajar, tata cara berbusana, dan lain sebagainya. Kemudian, pelaksanaan pendidikan kedisiplinan di asrama dilaksanakan dengan adaptasi dan pembiasan. (2) Faktor pendukung meliputi pemberian wewenang secara penuh oleh pihak madrasah kepada pamong dan musyrifah untuk mengelola asrama secara penuh dan konsistensi. Faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya sumber daya manusia dan masih terdapat sebagian santri yang belum disiplin. (3) Upaya yang dilakukan oleh pihak asrama sebagai strategi yaitu penambahan sumber daya dan melakukan pendekatan secara persuasif pada santri.

Abstract
This research described about disciplinary education for student in Muallimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Islamic Junior Boarding School, supporting and inhibiting factors and strategies to overcome inhibiting factors. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. The subjects of this study were boarding school teacher and students of Muallimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Islamic Junior Boarding School. Technic data collection used is observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Test data validity using source triangulation ang engineering triangulation.The results showed that: (1) The implementation of disciplinary education is carried out through the implementation of activities and rules that apply in the boarding school such as: boarding hours, study hours, dress procedures, and so forth. Then, the implementation of disciplinary education in the boarding school was carried out with adaptation and refraction. (2) Supporting factors are full authority of administrator manage by pamong and musyrifah and consistency. Then, the inhibiting factors are lack of human resources and there are students have not being discipline. (3) The efforts made by administrator as a strategy are adding resources and making persuasive approaches to students.
