Abstract
This study aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes of students of class XI multimedia on the subjects of two-dimensional animation through learning model type STAD cooperative learning in SMK Negeri 1 Jogonalan the academic year 2016/2017. Type of research is the Classroom Action Research (Classroom Action Research). The subjects were students of class XI multimedia SMK 1 Jogonalan as many as 33 students. The design study is a model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart containing phase of planning, action and observation, and reflection. Data collection instruments used were a matter of tests to measure student learning, observation sheets, questionnaires motivation and learning model application questionnaire STAD cooperative learning to measure student motivation. This type of analysis data used is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
The results showed that through the learning model of STAD cooperative learning can improve motivation and learning outcomes multimedia class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Jogonalan. The steps in the learning model type STAD cooperative learning there are four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection carried out in two meetings. After the implementation of learning by using cooperative learning model of STAD student motivation in the first cycle an average score of 511 and the percentage of students learning motivation 68.7%. In the second cycle generated an average score of 666, so the motivation to learn the percentage of 89.5%. Scores range from 89.5% classified as very high score category. In comparison, the motivation of students from the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 20.8%. Furthermore, the results of students in the first cycle as much as 5 students who did not reach KKM, but on the second cycle has been an increase of 100% of students have reached KKM with the class average value increased by 12.61 points from 86.18 in the first cycle, be 98.79 in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study declared successful because it meets the criteria of the success of research that ≥76% of the overall multimedia class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 has reached the KKM, then the study was discontinued.
