A WEB-BASED LIBRARY INFORMATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT USING SLIMS 8 (AKASIA) AND SMS GATEWAY IN SMK YPKK 1 SLEMAN

Abstract


This study aimed at developing a web-based library information system using SLiMS and SMS
Gateway at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman, and knowing the results of quality testing on the web-based library
information system using SLiMS and SMS Gateway at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman from Functional suitability
aspect, Performance efficiency, Usability, Reliability, Security, Maintainability, and Portability at ISO
25010. This research used Research and Development (R & D) method proposed by Sugiyono which
includes 10 steps that were (1) potential and problem, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design
validation, (5) product revisions, (7) product testing, (8) design revisions, (9) product revisions, and (10)
mass production. The results of this research are: (1) the web-based library information system using
SLiMS and SMS Gateway at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman was developed with SLiMS which is added with SMS
Gateway feature. (2) The test result shows that Functional suitability aspect reached 100% (Good),
Performance efficiency aspect got Grade B with score 82,09 and average response time 0,69 second,
Usability aspect got 72,01% (Height) , Reliability aspect touched 100% (user) and 98,08 (admin), Security
aspect, Maintainability aspect got 87,04 (High), and the last aspect, Portability aspect has fulfilled the
standard result where the system can be accessed without error. So it can be concluded that the software
quality has met the software quality criteria.
