THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCHOOL LIBRARY INFORMATION SYSTEMS BASED VISUAL BASIC IN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 2 MOYUDAN

Abstract

This study aims to build school library information system using Visual Basic in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Moyudan. The study is categorized as the Educational Research and Development. The development model used is waterfall model which includes requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing. User needs analysis is obtained from interviews that have been done. Design begins with the design of Unified Modeling Language, interface and design of database. For implementation using Microsoft Visual Basic software, Microsoft Access 2013 and CorelDRAW. The test is done by black box method where this test uses the user requirement list that has been made before in requirement analysis phase. The results of this study are: Library Information System SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Moyudan built using Visual Basic has passed the test in accordance with the list of user needs.
