DEVELOPMENT OF NETWORK DESIGN LEARNING MODULE FOR CLASS XII STUDENTS OF SMK NEGERI 1 CILACAP

Abstract
The purposes of this study are: (1) providing the Network Design learning module for class XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap so that the module could be used in the learning activities, (2) determining the appropriateness of the Network Design learning module for class XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap. This is a R&D study which the model of the development process refers to the model by Mr. Anik Ghufron that consists of 4 main stages: preliminary study, the development, field test, and dissemination. The internal validation (expert judgement) of the Network Design learning module was taken by two matter experts and two media experts, and then the external validation (field testing) was taken by the class XII of SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap students. The data collection technique used in this study is questionnaire with four model of choices by Likert that are very agree, agree, disagree, and very disagree. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The result of the study shows that: (1) the Network Design learning module for class XII SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap students has been developed and could be used in the learning activities. The module was developed by 4 stages that are preliminary study, the development, field test, and dissemination, (2) the Network Design learning module has been validated by the experts and tested by the students. The module has the presentation of material aspect as its excellence. It is shown by average rating of the material

The average rating from the material experts is 3.50 with the material quality reaches 87.5%, whereas the average rating from the media experts is 3.33 with the quality of media reaches 85%. Based on the field test result, the Network Design learning module is stated appropriate and could be used as the teaching material for class XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap with the appropriateness average rating is 3.62 and categorized as a very good teaching material.
