Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Instalasi Sistem Operasi Server Linux Berbasis Lectora Inspire Untuk Siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta

Abstract

Learning Media has many benefits including: (1) motivating student interest in learning, (2) facilitate understanding, and (3) make students more active. This research aims to developing instructional media Installation of Linux Server Operating System for students of XI class Department of Engineering Computers and Networks (TKJ) in SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta, and test the quality so it is worth to used in learning. This research uses research and development method (Research & Development). The development model starts from (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The quality test of instructional media use questionnaire made by Sunaryo Sunarto (2005) with teacher respondents and XI grade students of TKJ Department. The assessed aspect is the display aspect media, programming, learning, and content. Based on the results of the trial usage by the teacher obtained the value of 4.58 with very decent category and by the students of 3.99 with the category worth so has an average assessment of 4,285 it can be concluded that the learning media system installation Lectora-based linux server operation is very feasible to be used as a learning medium .
