Abstract


This study aims to increase the activity and learning outcomes of Computer and Basic Network of students of class X SIJA B SMK Negeri 2 Klaten by using cooperative learning model implementation Type Structured Dyadic Methods (SDM) .The data collection technique using observation sheet and test result learning. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class X SIJA B amounted to 36 students. The study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. Data collection techniques using learning activity observation sheets, test learning outcomes, and documentation. The method for data analysis is by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Structured Dyadic Methods can improve the activity and learning outcomes of students of class X SIJA B on subjects Computer and Basic

Network at SMK Negeri 2 Klaten. The average percentage of student learning activity in the first cycle of 54.59%, then increased in cycle II to 63.36%. Increased student learning activity is in the indicator of students pay attention to the material explanation of the teacher, listening to the material explanation from the teacher, pay attention to the material explanation from friends, pay attention to opinions of friends during discussion, express opinions during discussion, listening to material explanations from friends, make summaries of the discussion, answering questions from friends has been most of the students participate actively in the learning process. Student learning activities that need to be improved are indicators of courage to answer questions from teachers, ask questions to friends, and write questions discussed because the percentage is still a little not reached 50% despite meeting the target of success. Improved student learning outcomes seen by the increased percentage mastery of student learning outcomes. Percentage mastery of student learning outcomes in pre-cycle 50%, then increase in cycle I to 58.33%, and 77.14% in cycle II.
