INCREASING INTEREST AND LEARNING RESULTS STUDENT CLASS X DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER TECHNIQUE AND NETWORK ON SUBJECT DOING SOFTWARE INSTALLATION USING SAVI APPROACH IN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


This study aims to increase the interest and learning outcomes of students of class X TKJ 2 SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta on subjects Doing Software Installation using SAVI approach (Somatis, Auditori, Visual, Intellectual). This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were students of class X TKJ 2 amounted to 25 students. The study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. Data collection techniques using student interest observation sheets, learning result tests, documentation and field notes. Method for data analysis is by using descriptive analysis quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of SAVI can increase interest and learning outcomes of students of class X TKJ 2 on subjects performing Software Installation at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Increased interest in student learning can be seen in each cycle. The average of student's learning gain in Cycle I is 75,00%, then increase at Cycle II to 83,69%. Can be known from the material points, good interaction points, answer points of questions, installation precision points, material mastery points, points that maintain class conduciveness and antusian points. Improved learning outcomes with improved student learning outcomes. Percentage mastery of student learning outcomes on 8% Pre-Cycle, then increase in Cycle I to 44%, and 76% in Cycle II pass above KKM (75).
