IMPLEMENTATION OF JIGSAW LEARNING METHOD TO MULTIMEDIA DESIGN AT SMK NEGERI 2 SEWON

Abstract


This reseacrh aims to improve motivation and learning outcome of students from XI Multimedia 1 at SMK Negeri 2 Sewon by applying Jigsaw Learning Type of Cooperative Learning Method to Multimedia Design subjects. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that conducted through planning step, implementation step, observation, and relection (Kemmis and Mc. Taggart models). The object of this research is students from XI Multimedia 1, SMK Negeri 2 Sewon as much as 23 students. This research was conducted through two cycles as much as four meetings. Motivation and learnign outcomes was measured using motivational questionnaires and test question sheets. Data was analysed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that motivation and learning outcoumes has been improved by appling Jigsaw Learning Type of Cooperative Learning Method.
