PENGARUH METODE SIMULASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS V SD BAKALAN YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode simulasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Bakalan Yogyakarta tahun 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan berbentuk pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Bakalan berjumlah 57 siswa, dengan rincian 28 siswa kelas VA dan 29 siswa kelas VB. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan tes. Instrumen diuji menggunakan validitas dan reabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rerata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 7,78 dan kelompok kontro sebesar 6,17. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan positif hasil belajar IPS siswa di kelompok eksperimen sebesar 1,61 dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian ada pengaruh positif metode simulasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa Kelas V.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigasi the influence of the use of the simulation method to the Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade V students of SD Bakalan, Yogyakarta, in the 2014/2015 academic year. This was a pre-experimental design. The disign was the pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were Grade V students of SD Bakalan with a total of 57 students, consisting of 28 students of Grade VA and 29 students of Grade VB. The data collecting techniques were documentation and tests. The instrumen were assessed in terms of the construct validity and reliability. The data were analyzed by means of inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that the mean score of the experimental group was 7.78 and that of the control group was 6.17. This showed that there was a positive difference in the students’ Social Studies learning outcomes by 1.61 between the experimental group and the control group. Therefore, there was a positive influence of the simulation method to Grade V students’ Social Studies learning outcomes.
