IDENTIFIKASI KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI SOSROWIJAYAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesulitan belajar, bidang studi, faktor penyebab, dan sifat kesulitan belajar siswa kelas V SD N Sosrowijayan Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi seluruh siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Sosrowijayan Kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode skala psikologi, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu skala kesulitan belajar, pedoman wawancara, dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tingkat kesulitan belajar siswa kelas V SD N Sosrowijayan Kota Yogyakarta berada pada kategori sedang, 2) bidang studi yang sulit dipelajari oleh siswa adalah matematika, 3) faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar meliputi faktor internal berupa motivasi belajar, kebiasaan belajar, sikap dalam belajar, minat belajar, dan bakat, juga faktor eksternal meliputi lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat, dan sekolah, 4) sedangkan sifat kesulitan belajarnya adalah sementara.

Abstract

This study aimed to to know about learning difficulties level, subject, the causes, and the nature of learning difficulties on 5th grade students at Sosrowijayan state elementary school Yogyakarta. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The study was made based on the data input from 23 fifth grade students which were collected using learning difficulties scale, interview guide, and observation guide as the instruments. The study showed that 1) learning difficulties in 5th grade students at Sosrowijayan state elementary schools Yogyakarta is in the medium category, 2) the subject that difficult to learn is Mathematics, 3) factors of difficulties are discussed in terms of internal factors which depend on learning motivation, learning habit, learning attitude, learning interest, and students talent and external factors that involve family environment, public environment, and school environment, 4) meanwhile the result merely showed the nature of those difficulties are temporary.
