PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA IPS MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED INTRODUCTON (PBI)
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa denang peningkatkan model Problem Based Introduction pada siswa kelas V SD 3 Jarakan, Tahun ajaran 2015 / 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research), dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas V SD 3 Jarakan yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tindakan. masing- masing perencanaan, pelaksanaan dalam dua siklus tindakan. masing- masing siklus terdiri dari enam pertemuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 75 % dari jumlah siswa keaktifan telah mencapai minimal berkategori tinggi, maka tindakan dinyatakan berhasil.Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 58,3 % dan siklus II sebesar 92 % . Sehingga motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II dipersentasikan sebesar 33, 7% dengan demikian model PBI dapat peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract
This study aim to improve the learning motivation of Grade V students of SD 3 Jarakan through the Problem-Based instruction model in the 2015/2016 academic year. This was a classroom action research study and the subjects were Grade V students of SD 3 Jarakan with a total of 29 students. The study used Kemmis and McTaggart’s model. It was conducted in two cycles each of which consisted of planning and implementation in two action cycles. Each cycle consisted of six meetings. The data analysis techniques were quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The criterion of the success in the study was that 75% of the students had activeness in the high category to indicate that the action was successful. The results of the study show that the students’ learning motivation in Cycle I was 58.3% and in Cycle II it’s 92%. The improvement of the students’ learning motivation from Cycle I to Cycle II 33.7%. Therefore, the PBI model capable of improving the students’ learning motivation.
