PENGARUH QUANTUM TEACHING TERHADAP KREATIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF IPA

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Quantum Teaching terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar kognitif IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Minomartani Ngaglik Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Type NonEquivalent Control Group Design. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini yaitu Quantum Teaching sedangkan variabel terikatnya kreativitas dan hasil belajar kognitif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 8 kelas. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas V SDN Karangjati sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas V SDN 6 Minomartani sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kreativitas pada kondisi akhir kelas eksperimen sebesar 79,93 sedangkan kelas kontrol 59,37 dan rata-rata hasil belajar pada kondisi akhir kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,39 sedangkan kelas kontrol 74,67. Hasil uji t-test kreativitas sebesar 0,000 sedangkan t-test hasil belajar sebesar 0,008. Keduanya < 0,05 sehingga dinyatakankan bahwa ada pengaruh positif model Quantum Teaching terhadap kreativitas siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Minomartani Ngaglik Sleman dan ada pengaruh positif model Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Minomartani Ngaglik Sleman.

Abstract

This research aims at knowing the effect of Quantum Teaching toward creativity and cognitive science learning achievement  for fifth grade students of Gugus 4 Minomartani Ngaglik Sleman. The kind of this research was Quasi Experimental Type Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The independent variable was Quantum Teaching and the dependent variable was science creativity and cognitive learning outcome. The population was 8 class. Then, the sample was taken with purposive cluster random sampling technique. From the sampling, 5th grade students of SDN Karangjati was taken as control class and 5th grade students SDN 6 Minomartani as experiment class. The result of this research shows that the average science creativity for experiment class is 79,93 then the control class is 59,37 . Meanwhile, the average score for learning outcome for experiment class is 83,39 and the control class is 74,67. The t test result for creativity is 0,000 while the learning outcome is 0,008. Both data are <0,05 so it can be conclude that there is a positive effect of quantum teaching to science creativity and learning outcome at 5th grade of Gugus 4 Minomartani Ngaglik Sleman.
