UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PEMBAGIAN BILANGAN SISWA KELAS II SD DENGAN PEDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATICSS EDUCATION

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)  siswa kelas II SD Negeri Sinduadi 2 Sleman Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) kolaboratif menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: 1) observasi, 2) wawancara, 3) dokumentasi, dan 4) tes. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan pendekatan RME  dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SD Negeri Sinduadi 2. Peningkatan persentase hasil belajar ketuntasan KKM siswa terjadi setiap siklus, yaitu pada pra tindakan sebesar 37,5% dengan rata-rata nilai 52,5. Pada siklus I pertemuan pertama sebesar 62,5% dengan rata-rata nilai 70, pertemuan kedua sebesar 75% rata-rata nilai 78,75, pertemuan ketiga sebesar 93,75% rata-rata nilai 85, sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama sebesar 93,75% dengan rata-rata nilai 86,88, pertemuan kedua sebesar 100% rata-rata nilai 89,38.

Abstract

This research   aims at improving mathematics learning outcome on second grade students of SD Negeri Sinduadi 2 Sleman, Yogyakarta with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)  approach. The kind of this research was collaborative classroom action research which was used Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The data collecting method were carried on ; 1) observation), 2) interview, 3) documentation and 4) test.  The data analysis that had been used was descriptive statistics.The results show that applying RME   approach   can improve mathematics learning outcome on second grade students in SD Negeri Sinduadi 2. The improvement of learning outcome happen every cycle on pre-condition in the amount of 37,5% with the average score of 52,5. The 1st   cycle of the first meeting percentage 62,5% with the average score of 70, the 1st   cycle of the second meeting percentage 75% with the average score of 78,75, the 1st  cycle of the third meeting percentage 93,75% with the average score of 85. The 2nd cycle of the first meeting percentage 93,75% with the average score of 86,88. The 2nd cycle of the second meeting percentage 100% with the average score of 89,38.
