PENGARUH METODE SCRAMBLE TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SDN REJOWINANGUN 1 YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelompok yang diajar dengan metode scramble memiliki minat lebih tinggi daripada kelompok yang diajar dengan metode ceramah pada kelas V SDN Rejowinangun 1 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitiannya Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan metode scramble dan kelompok kontrol yang diberi perlakuan metode ceramah. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 49 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa skala minat. Teknik statistik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif membandingkan rerata dua kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode scramble memiliki minat belajar IPS lebih tinggi daripada kelompok yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode ceramah. Hal ini terlihat dari besarnya skor rata-rata skala minat belajar IPS pada kondisi akhir kelas eksperimen yang lebih besar dibanding kelas kontrol. Pada kondisi akhir, skor rata-rata di kelas eksperimen yaitu 79,36 sedangkan skor rata-rata di kelas kontrol yaitu 75,83.

Abstract

This research aims at understanding the scramble method gives more interest in studying than lecturing method of grade V SDN Rejowinangun 1 Yogyakarta. The research type was Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. This research used two groups. They were experiment group with scramble method and control group with lecturing method. The population of this research were 49 students. The instrument of this research was the scale of interest. The data technique analysis was descriptive analysis compared the average of two groups. The result of this research shows that the group with scramble method has more interest in studying socials studies than the group with lecturing method. The group with scramble method has the highest score in socials studies in the end of the experiment than the group with control method. The average score in the experiment group is 79,36 and the control group is 75,83.
