MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD N BLEBER 1 MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL TGT

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran
Kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) siswa kelas V SD N Bleber I. Jenis Penelitian ini
adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan guru kelas. Desain
penelitian yang digunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Desain tersebut terdiri empat komponen,
yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus. Setiap siklus
terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V
SD N Bleber I. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Instrumen penelitian
menggunakan lembar observasi dan angket. Validasi instrumen dilakukan dengan expert judgment.
Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa, penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kartu
bernomor dapat meningkatkan minat belajar IPS. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari peningkatan persentase
minat belajar IPS pada setiap siklusnya. Pada Pra tindakan, minat belajar IPS sebesar 14,29 %. Pada
siklus I sebesar 67,86% terjadi peningkatan sebesar 53,57%. Pada siklus II sebesar 89,29% terjadi
peningkatan sebesar 21,43%.

Abstract
This study aims at increasing the interest of social studies through Teams Games Tournaments (TGT)
model implementation of fifth grade students of Bleber I elementary school. This research was classroom
action research (PTK) that was implemented collaboratively with classroom teachers. The design of
study was Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. The design consisted of four components, namely planning,
action, observation, and reflection. This study used two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action
and observation, as well as reflect. The subjects were fifth grade students of Bleber I elementary school.
The data collection technique used observation and questionnaires. The research instrument used
observation sheets and questionnaires. Validation of instruments was made through expert judgment.
Data analysis techniques were made through descriptive qualitative and quantitative.The results shows
that the use of TGT made through numbered cards can increase the interest in social studies. It can be
proved by the incraease of the percentage of interest in social studies at each cycle. In Pre-action, social
studies interest of 14.29%. In the first cycle of 67.86% an increase of 53.57%. In the second cycle of
89.29% an increase of 21.43%.
