METODE ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SD NEGERI I NGERANGAN

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS melalui metode Role Playing pada siswa
kelas V di SD Negeri I Ngerangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 14 siswa, terdiri
dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 4 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes,
observasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model Kemiss Taggart.
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskripsi kuantitatif dan deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar IPS melalui metode Role Playing pada siswa kelas V. Nilai
rata-rata siswa sebelum tindakan adalah 42, nilai rata-rata pada akhir siklus I adalah 67 dan nilai rata-rata pada
akhir siklus II adalah 84. Pada hasil tes akhir siklus I sebanyak 5 siswa atau 35,7% yang telah memenuhi KKM,
pada siklus II sebanyak 13 siswa atau 92,9% serta hasil observasi siswa sangat baik.

Abstract
This research was aimed to improve learning result of Social Studies by implementing the role-play
technique in grade V students at SD Negeri 1 Ngerangan. The subjects of this research were 14 students of grade
V, the subjects were consisted of 10 boys and 4 girls. The data was obtained from the test and the observation.
This research was classified as an action research model by Kemiss Taggart. The data analysis techniques were
quantitative description and qualitative description. The results showed that the use of role-play was able to
improve the learning result of Social Studies in grade V students. Based on data, the average score of students
before action were 42, the average score at the end of the cycle I was 67 and the average score at the end of the
cycle II was 84. At the result of final test of cycle I 5 students or 35.7% were achieve the KKM,on the cycle II
were 13 students or 92.9% which the observation result was very good.
