IMPLEMENTASI NILAI DEMOKRASI DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH GANTIWARNO KLATEN

Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk  mengetahui implementasi nilai demokrasi di SD Muhammadiyah Gantiwarno Klaten. Penelitian ini menggunkan  pendekatan  kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan  subjek dengan  purposive yang terdiri dari, kepala sekolah, guru  kelas 3b, guru kelas 5b dan  4 siswa perwakilan  kelas 3b,5b. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data Miles dan Huberman  yaitu mengumpulkan  data,  reduksi data, display data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai demokrasi dilakukan  melalui  kegiatan  pembelajaran  yaitu  melalui RPP yang memuat nilai-nilai demokrasi, materi pelajaran mengaktifkan siswa, menumbuhkan  rasa toleransi, menghargai antar teman. Kegiatan di luar pembelajaran yang mengimplementasikan nilai demokrasi adalah  upacara bendera, piket kelas, kunjungan mahasiswa asing,  parents volunteers, rapat rutin evaluasi , penyelesaian masalah siswa dengan konseling, pengkondisian  ruang kelas, kegiatan afektif, outbond for leadership, serta kegiatan ekstrakulikuler Tapak Suci dan Hisbul Wathan.

Abstract

This research aimed toknow the implementation of democration value in SD Muhammadiyah Gantiwarno Klaten. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Subjects deciding technique was purposive. Subjects were headmaster, teachers of 3-B and 5-B class, and four students from 3-B and 5-B class. Data colletion techniques were interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique was Miles and Huberman, that were data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. Data validity techniques were source and technique triangulation. This research’s results showed that the implementation of democration value in learning process were through RPP that included democration values that activied students, raised tolerant, and admired between students. Activities of non-learning process that implementated democration value were flag ceremony, dhuha pray, classroom cleaning, foreign college students visitation, parents volunteers, routine evaluation meeting, counselling and students problem solving, classroom conditioning, affective activity, outbond for leadership, and extracurricular activity of Tapak Suci and Hisbul Wathan.
