PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MENGGUNAKAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT KELAS IV SDN 3 KATEKAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered head together (NHT) dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Katekan Ngadirejo Temanggung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 15 siswa, terdiri dari 11 siswa perempuan dan 4 siswa laki-laki. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS. Peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar tersebut sebesar 15,33. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebelum dilakukan tindakan yaitu 65,33 dengan persentase ketuntasan 40% meningkat menjadi 75 dengan persentase ketuntasan 80% pada siklus I dan kembali meningkat menjadi 80,67 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% pada siklus II.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know cooperative learning numbered head together (NHT) type that implemented in social studies learning to increase result of study of student fourth grade SDN 3 Katekan Ngadirejo Temanggung. This research was action research class. The subject of this research were teacher and fourth grade students, the number of this class was 15 students, it was consist of 11 students were female and 4 students were male. This research consist of two cycles. Every cycle consist of three times meeting. The technique to collect the data were observation, questionnaire and test. The technique to analyze the data was qualitative descriptive. The result of this research shows that by using cooperative learning numbered head together (NHT) type could increase the quality of social studies learning. Increase the average of result study was 15,33. This could be seen from the value average that they get before doing this action was 65,33 with completness percentage 80% in first cycle and increase again to 80,67 with completness percentage 100% in second cycle.
