IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI BUDAYA SEKOLAH DI SD TAMAN MUDA IBU PAWIYATAN YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta dengan narasumber kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan sebagai berikut : 1) kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan warga sekolah secara terus menerus melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan setiap hari, seminggu sekali, sebulan sekali, dan setahun sekali; 2) kegiatan spontan yang dilakukan oleh warga sekolah saat itu juga, tanpa perencanaan dan tidak terjadwal; 3) keteladanan ditujukkan oleh warga sekolah melalui perilaku baik yang dapat dicontoh orang lain, dan 4) pengondisian dengan menciptakan lingkungan sosial dan lingkungan fisik sekolah yang mendukung terlaksananya pendidikan karakter.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through school culture in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta Elementary School. The subject of the research is Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta Elementary School with the headmaster, classroom teachers, and students as the resource persons. Data collection is done through interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques use the Miles & Huberman models that include data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The data validity test used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of character education through school culture in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta Elementary School was carried out through the activitiy, such as : 1) routine activities carried out by school members continuously through activities carried out every day, once a week, once a month, and once a year; 2) spontaneous activities carried out by school members right away, without planning and unscheduled; 3) exemplary shown by school members through good behavior that can be emulated by others, and 4) conditioning by creating a social and physical environment for the school that supports the implementation of character education
