PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN PECAHAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PAPAN BATANG PECAHAN PADA KELAS V SDN CIREN PANDAK BANTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar materi operasi hitung bilangan pecahan dengan menggunakan papan batang pecahan pada kelas V SDN Ciren. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas V SDN Ciren. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Validitas instrumen dilakukan melalui expert judgment oleh dosen pembimbing. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar materi operasi hitung bilangan pecahan dan persentase aktivitas guru dan siswa dari hasil penilaian pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada dan persentase aktivitas guru dan siswa berdasar penilaian pra siklus masih di bawah kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan dari hasil pra siklus namun masih kurang dari kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dan sudah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan penelitian yaitu ≥80%.

Abstract
The research aims to improve the learning results of fractional number counting operation materials by using Papan Batang Pecahan in class V SDN Ciren. The type of the research was a Classroom Action Research. The subjects were 23 students of 5th grade SDN Ciren. The data were collected through tests and observations. The instruments were validated through the expert judgment by the advisor. The data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive techniques and qualitative descriptive techniques. The research design used was Kemmis & Mc. Taggart method. The research was done in two cycles. The result of the research shows the improvement of the learning results of fractional number counting operation materials which is shown by the improvement of learning result and percentages of the theacher and students’ activity from the pretest, first cycle, then second cycle. The pretest result is still below the success criteria of the research. In the first cycle, there is improvement which is higher than the pretest result but it is still below the success criteria of the research. In the second cycle, there is improvement and the result has already reached the success criteria of the research which is ≥80%.
