FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT MEMBACA SISWA KELAS V SE- KECAMATAN PANDAK BANTUL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  faktor-faktor  yang mempengaruhi minat membaca siswa kelas. Jenis penelitiannya survey. Analisis data dengan analisis faktor. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 590 siswa. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 238 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: faktor internal terdapat delapan yaitu (1) kondisi fisik, pemahaman isi dan kebutuhan membaca, (2) kemampuan membaca dan sikap, (3) pengelihatan dan pendengaran, (4) motivasi belajar dan kebutuhan tugas sekolah, (5) kematangan psikis, (6) pemahaman  dan prestasi, (7) kondisi badan dan rasa ingin tahu, (8) struktur tubuh dan kebiasaan. Faktor eksternal terdapat sepuluh yaitu (1) meniru orang tua, perhatian guru, mengikuti teman sebaya, (2) ajakan teman sebaya, situasi kultural, pengamalan ajaran agama, (3) variasi bacaan dari guru, aturan dan kemudahaan mendapatkan bacaan dan perintah agama, (4) kemudahaan mendapatkan bacaan, (5) kelengkapan bacaan dan ajaran agama, (6) penyediaan bacaan dan ketersediaan tempat membaca (7) tekanan teman, kultur dan iklim lingkungan (8) dorongan dan ketersediaan bacaan, pergaulan dengan teman, (9) ketersediaan bacaan, (10) dorongan orang tua.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine factors that affect students' interest in reading in class V. Types of survey research. The research population were 590 students. The research sample were 238 students. Data analysis done by factor analysis. The results show internal factors namely (1) physical condition, understanding of content and reading needs, (2) reading and attitude skills, (3) vision and hearing, (4) learning motivation and school work needs, (5) psychic maturity, (6) understanding and achievement, (7) body condition and curiosity, (8) body structure and habits. External factors accepted are (1) inviting parents, teacher attention, following peers, (2) peer invitations, discussing culture, practicing religious, (3) variations of readings from teachers, rules and readiness to get religious readings and commands, (4) the ease of obtaining readings, (5) completeness of religious reading, (6) provision of readings and discussing places of reading (7) increasing friends, culture and environment (8) encouraging and reading readings, associating with friends, (9) while waiting for reading, (10) encouraging parents.
