PENGARUH PEMBERIAN REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI SE-GUGUS WR SUPRATMAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: (1) pemberian reward dan punishment terhadap minat belajar; (2) pemberian reward terhadap minat belajar; dan (3) pemberian punishment terhadap minat belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri se-Gugus WR Supratman Kecamatan Kaligesing, Kabupaten Purworejo dengan total 116 siswa dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 90 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling dengan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan teknik expert judgement, sedangkan daya beda menggunakan korelasi product moment, dan reliabilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji multikolinearitas. Teknik analisis data adalah regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pemberian reward dan punishment berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar dengan sumbangan 44,2%; (2) pemberian reward berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa dengan sumbangan 34,23%; (3) pemberian punishment bepengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa dengan sumbangan 9,97%; dan (4) hasil persamaan garis regresi adalah Y = 29,974 + 0,528X1 + 0,226X2.

Abstract
This research aims at knowing: (1) the effect of reward and punishment towards learning interest, (2) the effect of reward towards learning interest, and (3) the effect of punishment towards learning interest. This research used quantitative research design with ex-post facto method. The population in this research were all of fourth grade student in WR Supratman Cluster Kaligesing Sub-district Purworejo Regency whose total number 116 students with the sample of this research were 90 students that taken used simple random sampling with slovin formula. The data collection technique used psychology scale. The instrument validity used expert judgment technique, while validity of item used product moment correlation, and reliability used cronbach alpha. The analysis techniques that had been used were the normality test, the linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The analysis of data used multiple regression analysis technique. The result of the research show that (1) reward and punishment had an effect on student learning interest with contribution of 44,2%; (2) reward had an effect on student learning interest with contribution of 34,23%; (3) punishment had an effect on student learning interest with contribution of 9,97%; and (4) the result of regression line equation was Y = 29,974 + 0,528X1 + 0,226X2.
