Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan media “rak telur pelangi” dan mengetahui penggunaan media untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Media dinilai oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru kelas II SD. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan media adalah sebagai berikut: kelayakan produk ditunjukkan dengan kualitas produk berdasarkan 1) penilaian ahli materi diperoleh skor 84 dengan rata-rata skor 4,94 (kategori baik sekali), 2) penilaian ahli media diperoleh skor 89 dengan rata-rata skor 4,68 (kategori baik sekali), 3) penilaian oleh guru kelas diperoleh skor 122 dengan rata-rata skor 4,88 (kategori baik sekali). Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas pada siswa kelas II SD, siswa mengalami peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa sebesar 30,69%. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran matematika “Rak Telur Pelangi” layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika dikelas II SD.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the procedure for developing "rak telur pelangi" media and to find out the use of media to improve student learning outcomes. This was an Research and Development research. The data was collected using test and observasion. The data analysis using kuantitatif descriptive analysis. The media was assessed by material experts, media experts, and second grade elementary school’s teachers. The results of the development research of the media are as follows: product feasibility is indicated by product quality based on 1) assessment of material experts obtained a score of 84 with an average score of 4.94 (excellent category), 2) assesment of media obtained a score 89 with an average score of 4.68 (excellent category), 3) assessment by the class teacher obtained a score of 122 with an average score of 4.88 (excellent category). Whereas based on the results of the trial limited to second grade students, students experienced an increase in student learning outcomes by 30.69%. Thus, the mathematics learning media "rak telur pelangi" is worthy of being used as a medium for learning mathematics in second grade elementary school.
