PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES IPA DENGAN MODEL INKUIRI TERBIMBING

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Wates dengan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Desain PTK menggunakan Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterampilan proses siswa, lembar observasi guru (keterlaksanaan pembelajaran) model inkuiri terbimbing. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Wates yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Kriteria keberhasilan keterampilan proses adalah rerata keterampilan proses siswa mendapat skor ≥76. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase keterampilan proses meningkat dari pra siklus ke siklus I yaitu dari 41,66% menjadi 57,25%. Keterampilan proses pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,50%. Persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing pada siklus I yaitu 75% dan pada siklus II yaitu 87,5%. Peningkatan pada siklus II tersebut karena adanya perbaikan dari kekurangan di siklus I.

Abstract
The research aims at improving science process skills of student at fourth graders SD N 5 Wates by applying guided inquiry design. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR design used Kemmis and Mc Taggart’s model which consist planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The instruments which were used in this research were observation sheets of students' process skills, teachers observation sheet (lesson progress) guided inquiry design. The data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive. The subjects of this research were student of fourth graders SD N 5 Wates, which consisted of 30 students. The success criteria for process skills was the average process skills of students getting a score of ≥76. The result of the research shows the percentage of process skill improved from pre-cycle to cycle I, from 41,66% to 57,25%. The process skill in cycle II increased to 87,50%. Percentage of implementation of learning used guided inquiry design in cycle I is 75% and in cycle II is 87,5%. Increasing in cycle II was due to improvements from the lack of cycle I.
