UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR MELALUI KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (TGT) kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Banyuraden. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan keaktifan belajar adalah rerata kelas memperoleh skor ≥75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor keaktifan belajar dari pra siklus 20,88, siklus I 68,88, dan siklus II 79,54.

Abstract

This research aims at improvis student learning activeness of sosial studies through cooperative type teams games tournament model (TGT) in the 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Banyuraden. This research was based on Classroom Action Research with 32students of the subject. The design of this research used a model by Kemmis and McTaggart. The data collecting methods included observation and questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive data analysis and quantitative descriptive. The criteria of success in learning activities was indicated by the average score of higher than 75. The result showed the average score of learning activities from the pre-cycle was 20,88; in the first cycle is 68,88, and the second cycle was 78.79.
