IMPLEMENTASI NILAI-NILAI DISIPLIN PADA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI SIDAKAN, KULON PROGO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai disiplin pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sidakan, Kulon Progo Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru kelas V, siswa kelas V, dan dokumen yang terkait dengan implementasi nilai-nilai disiplin pada siswa kelas V. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai disiplin pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Sidakan dilakukan dengan tiga teknik. Teknik cooperatif control guru dan siswa telah membuat kesepakatan peraturan dan hukuman di awal semester, teknik external control guru belum memberikan sanksi yang konsisten untuk siswa yang tidak disiplin dan belum memberikan hadiah yang konsisten kepada siswa yang disiplin, serta teknik internal control guru telah memberikan keteladanan dan motivasi kepada siswa namun guru masih sering terlambat berangkat ke sekolah. Hambatan yang terjadi dalam implementasi nilai-nilai disiplin siswa kelas V adalah keterbatasan guru dalam mengamati setiap kegiatan siswa dan belum ada sanksi tertulis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of discipline values in fifth grade students of SD Negeri Sidakan, Banaran, Galur, Kulon Progo, in year 2018/2019. This study is a qualitative research. The data source consisted of principal, fifth grade teacher, fifth grade students, and documents related to the implementation of discipline values in fifth grade students. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The validity of the data is tested through source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this research showed that discipline values implementation in fifth grade student was carried out with three techniques. Cooperative control technique showed that teachers and students agree about the rules and punishment at the beginning of the semester teacher, external control technique showed that teacher have not provided consistent to give punishment to students who were undisciplined and rewarded to students who are disciplined, and internal control technique showed that the teacher gives role model and motivation to students in discipline but occasionally the teacher is late for school. The obstacles that occur in the implementation of the discipline values of class V students are the teacher's limitations in observing each student's activities and there are no written sanctions.
