MENINGKATKAN KINERJA BERDISKUSI MELALUI MODEL COOPERATIVE TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja berdiskusi melalui model cooperative learning tipe numbered head together. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SD kelas IV. Teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kinerja berdiskusi setelah menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe numbered head together. Kinerja berdiskusi pada pratindakan memiliki rata-rata skor perolehan 8,58 dengan 15 atau 100% siswa memperoleh kategori kurang. Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi rata-rata skor perolehan 12,14 dengan 13 atau 87% siswa memperoleh kategori baik dan 2 atau 13% siswa memperoleh kategori cukup pada siklus I.

Abstract

This research aims at improving discussion performance through “numbered head together” cooperative learning. The type of this research was classroom action research (CAR). The subject were students at grade IV. The data analysis techniques were quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the research show that the implementation of “numbered head together” cooperative learning can improve discussion performance. The average score of students’ discussion performance before the action was 8,58  with 15 students or 100% classified as less criteria. In the cycle I, it increased to 12,14 with 13 students or 87% classified as good criteria and 2 students or 13% classified as enough criteria..
